I'm drawn to gorgeous papers and fabrics and especially love it when I manage to snag ones with pretty metallic gold accents. This handmade book is coptic bound and features a blue, flowered, arabesque Japanese paper decorating the covers. Coptic bindings made great journals and sketchbooks because they are durable and lay open completely flat. The paper inside is best suited for pen, pencil, crayons, pastels, etc. It measures about 2-1/2" high and 2" wide. All materials used were scraps from other bookbinding projects.
