Production Times
Ready to ship items will usually be sent out within 3-5 business days. Friday is typically the day that I package everything up and ship them out.
In stock Ceramic items are ready to ship UNLESS the title says "PRE-ORDER". Count on pre-order ceramics to take up to 4-8 weeks as I need to run a full kiln load and while I'm typically always working on filling up the kiln, ceramics still require quite a bit of time including drying time, 2 kiln firings as well as waiting for the kiln to cool, and glazing time.
Made to order Fiber Art items and Journals typically take between 1-2 weeks to create, depending on my current workload. Some items are a little more time consuming and/or finicky to get right and those items will likely take longer.

This handbound blank book has a cover featuring an upcycled burlap bag from basmati rice. Part of a series of journals called "Bodega Books" which were inspired by a desire to re-use some of the beautiful and colorful product packaging I grew up observing when I went shopping at ethnic grocery stores with my father.
The pages are tea stained using a loose leaf black tea. Contains a total of 56 heavy-weight pages, the original paper use is a 65 lb cardstock. As the paper dries after being immersed in the tea it crinkles and waves, creating some charming irregular spots and discoloration, with an overall warm tone. You'll love the satisfying soft crinkles the pages make as you turn the pages. The binding is coptic, with the stitching exposed on the spine of the book. The thread used is a heavy waxed linen. It measures approximately 5"x7".
Perfect for use as a journal, scrapbook, or even prop the tea stained pages and burlap cover makes the journal appear old and antiqued.
This book is made to order and will take about 7-14 days to make. The book pictured is an example and has already been sold -- the pattern on the bag varies wildly so your cover will likely be different then what is pictured.
